Baby's Details
He has been created from an Estelle Kit by Evelina Wosnjuk
and has been hand painted with Genesis heatset paints
His body has been filled soft bags containing very fine glass pellets, almost like
grains of salt, for adding weight to his body. These have been
surrounded by very soft fleece and give him a cuddly baby like feel.
 
His limbs have also been filled with the same glass pellets,
then sealed.  He has 3/4 length arms and legs which
allows him to wear a wide variety of new born or 0-3 months
size clothing. As there is no sand in any of the dolls,
they can be sent all over the world.
  

 
 
His head has been weighted to flop like a real baby,
using the same fine glass pellets contained  in a small bag
surrounded by fleece and then sealed.

 
His hair is made from the finest kid angora mohair and has
been imported from Susan Nagel in the United States. The hair
has been rooted one or two hairs at a time using a German fork needle
and has been sealed with waterproof sealant from the
inside of his head. The hair can be wet and gently brushed and combed
for restyling.
 

 

 


He has a velour disc jointed body
which allows him to be placed in a variety of poses.
He also has very fine veining on his eyelids, temples, wrists and ankles.

 


His nails have been painted to give that 'just clipped' look
then sealed with three coats of varnish to prevent chipping.
His naturally coloured lips have also been coated using
the same varnish.
 

 

 
   He is not a play doll and should
not be used as a toy.

Please - under no circumstances buy any of these dolls as a play doll.
They are intended for collectors and are quite delicate.
The dolls contain very small parts, magnets etc, and could be dangerous for a child.
The dolls are inspected by three other individuals apart from myself
before posting to check that there are no defects and that
the photographs of the doll are a true representation
and not misleading in any way.
The description always states quite clearly
 - these are not play dolls.
