Baby's details
She has been created from a Robin kit by Adrie Stoete Schuiteman
and has been painted using Genesis heat set paints which do not fade or rub off.
Her body has been made from very soft white coloured velour fabric
and is partially disc jointed which allows you to pose the doll.
Her body has been filled with soft pouches containing very fine glass pellets
The pellets are like grains of salt and are very soft. These are used to add weight to the body.
The pouches are then enclosed in very soft fleece.This gives the doll a very soft baby like feel.
Her limbs have also been filled with the same glass pellets, then sealed
She has ¾ length arms and full legs which will allow her to wear a wide variety
of newborn or 0-3 months size clothing.
As there is no sand in any of the dolls, they can safely be sent anywhere in the world.

Her head has been weighted to flop like a real baby,
using the same glass pellets contained in a small bag
surrounded by fleece and then sealed.

Her hair is made from the finest angora mohair and has
been imported from Susan Nagel in the United States.The hair
has been rooted one or two hairs at a time using a German fork needle
and has been sealed with waterproof sealant from the
inside of her head. The hair can be wet and gently brushed and combed
for restyling.



She also has very fine veining on her eyelids, temples, wrists and ankles.
Her nails have been painted to give that 'just clipped' look
then sealed with three coats of varnish to prevent chipping.
Her naturally coloured lips have also been coated using
the same varnish.



She is not a play doll and should
not be used as a toy.

They are intended for collectors and are quite delicate.
The dolls contain very small parts, magnets etc, and could be dangerous for a child
The dolls are inspected by three other individuals apart from myself
before posting to check that there are no defects and that
the photographs of the doll are a true representation
and not misleading in any way.
The description always states quite clearly
these are not play dolls.
