Baby's
Details
She has
been created from a Kissable Kit by Marita Winters
and has
been hand painted with Genesis heatset paints
Her body has
been filled with soft pouches containing very fine glass pellets,
almost like
grains of
salt, for adding weight to
her body. These have been
surrounded
by very soft fleece
and give her a cuddly
baby like feel.
Her limbs
have also been filled with the same glass pellets,
then
sealed. She has 3/4 length legs and 3/4 arms which
allows her
to wear a wide variety of preemie or tiny baby
size
clothing. As there is no sand in any of the dolls,
they can be sent
all over the world.
Her head has
been weighted to flop like a real baby,
using tiny steel
shot pellets contained in a small bag
surrounded by
fleece and then sealed.
Her hair is made
from finest angora mohair
imported from
Susan Nagel in the United States. The hair
has been
directionally rooted one or two hairs at a time using a 46g crown
needle
and has been sealed with waterproof
sealant from the
inside
of her head. The hair can be wet and gently brushed and
combed
for
restyling.
She has a
faux suede disc jointed body
which
allows her to be placed in a variety of poses.
She also
has very fine veining on her eyelids, temples, wrists and
ankles.
She
is not a play doll and should
not be used as a
toy. She has been made
for collectors only.

no circumstances buy any of these dolls as a play
doll.
They
are intended for collectors and are quite
delicate.
Some of the
dolls contain very small parts, magnets etc, and could be dangerous
for a child. However, this doll does not contain
magnets
The dolls are inspected by three
other individuals apart from myself
before posting to check that there
are no defects and that
the photographs of the doll
are a true representation
and not misleading in any
way.
The description
always states quite clearly
-
these are not play
dolls.
